Your Five Day Tour Itinerary

Day 1: Morning departure from local area. We journey south to Torquay with regular comfort stops en-route. We will be making a short visit to Wychbold where you may purchase refreshments or take a relaxing break before continuing our journey to Torquay, arriving later in the afternoon. After checking in to our hotel you have the rest of the evening free at leisure.

Day 2: After breakfast we rejoin the coach and journey to Falmouth for a visit to Trebah Gardens. Trebah is a spectacular 25 acre ravine garden that drops 200 feet from the 18th century house to a private beach on the Helford River. The lawns at the top of the garden offer a view over what is a sub-tropical jungle with enormous Australian tree-ferns and palms, mingling with native 100 year old rhododendrons, magnolias and camellias. We rejoin the coach early afternoon and journey onto Truro for shopping or sightseeing. Truro, the cathedral town of Cornwall, was previously a stannery town which was very important for exporting ore. It became a fashionable town in the 18th century and the Georgian buildings remain. Look at Lemon Street and Walsingham Place, an early 19th century crescent.

Day 3: Full day at leisure to explore the beautiful seaside resort of Torquay. Torquay has been one of the UK 's top holiday destinations since Victorian Times when the gentry promenaded, bathing huts were wheeled down to the beaches and anyone who was anyone had an attractive villa overlooking the sea. Torquay's famous seven hills provide the backdrop to a waterfront scene that matches anything you'll find on the French Riviera. It was the Victorians who first used the Riviera name to describe their favourite resort and their legacy remains to this day with sparkling white villas perched on the verdant hilltops, beautiful gardens around the seafront and elegant Victorian facades along the main streets.

Day 4: After breakfast we rejoin the coach and journey to Plymouth for free time to shop or take in the wonderful sights this City has to offer. Plymouth has a rich and significant history, you can explore the cobbled streets of the Barbican and follow the footsteps of the Pilgrim Fathers, take a boat ride over the Tamar to the magnificent Grade I listed Mount Edgcumbe House and Gardens, or find out about the real stories behind Plymouth's history at Plymouth City Museum and Art Gallery. Plymouth is uniquely placed on the coast and you can enjoy the stunning scenery just minutes from the shopping district, bars and cafes. The town boasts the National Marine Aquarium, the safest and friendliest attraction in the south west. We rejoin the coach later in the afternoon and journey back to our hotel for our three course evening meal. The rest of the evening is yours to relax at leisure.

Day 5: Sadly after breakfast we rejoin the coach to begin our journey home. Regular comfort stops en-route, arriving back to local area in the early evening.
