Your Five Day Tour Itinerary

Day 1: Morning departure from local area and journey south to Bournemouth with regular comfort stops en-route. We will be making a short visit to Royal Leamington Spa where you may purchase refreshments or take in the sights before continuing our journey to Bournemouth. After checking into the hotel the rest of the evening is free for time at leisure.

Day 2: Free time at leisure to explore the beautiful seaside resort of Bournemouth. Bournemouth – a world class resort that has everything you need for a perfect holiday. There’s a host of sights and activities within easy reach. Relax on the award-winning beaches, with seven miles of golden sand fringing the clear blue sea. Wander through the exquisite parks and gardens, or explore the vast range of shops – from fascinating boutiques to large department stores. Experience the wealth of entertainment and amusements available for all ages and tastes. If you fancy a bite to eat, take your choice from the restaurants, bars and bistros, offering everything from traditional English fare to the finest exotic cuisines. Alternatively, you can savour the beauty of the rolling countryside where Thomas Hardy lived. At the end of the day, slip back to the comfort of your accommodation, go to sleep, and dream of what we have in store tomorrow!

Day 3: After breakfast we travel to Beaulieu, one of the South of England’s top day visitor attractions. Beaulieu is set in the heart of the New Forest, the UK’s newest National Park, with lots for everyone to enjoy including the world famous National Motor Museum, Palace House, home of the Montagu family, and historic Beaulieu Abbey. At 13.30 we depart Bealieu and journey along the river to Bucklers Hard. The 18th century maritime village of Buckler's Hard sits on the western bank of the Beaulieu River. Three ships built at Buckler's Hard went on to see action in the 1805 Battle of Trafalgar - the Euryalus, Swiftsure and Agamemnon, the latter being Admiral Nelson's most favoured ship.

Day 4: After breakfast the morning is free at leisure. We depart the hotel early afternoon and journey to Highcliffe Castle for sightseeing. The Castle was built on the site previously occupied by High Cliff, a Georgian mansion designed for the 3rd Earl of Bute (a founder of Kew Gardens), with grounds laid out by Capability Brown. The Earl's fourth son, General Sir Charles Stuart who sold the estate apart from Bure Homage, a small house on its outskirts, inherited High Cliff. All that remains of High Cliff today are the two entrance lodges, presently being used as a restaurant and some of the garden walls and features on the present estate.

Day 5: Sadly, we depart hotel after breakfast and begin our journey home.  Regular comfort stops en-route, arriving local area in the evening.
