Your Five Day Tour Itinerary
Day1: Morning departure from local area. We journey to the Holiday Inn Hotel, Norwich with regular passenger comfort stops en-route. On arrival, and once checked in porterage will take your luggage to your room. You will then have free time at leisure to relax before seating down to your Three Course Evening Meal.
Day 2: After breakfast we depart the hotel and journey to The Bure Valley Railway for an 18 mile round trip which runs through the picturesque Bure valley countryside following the meandering river through meadowland and ancient pasture stopping occassionally at small country villages. A boat will be waiting for you only a 15 minute stroll away from Wroxham Station. A relaxing time spent sailing along the Broads before rejoining the coach for return journey to our hotel for our three course evening meal.
Day 3: Full day at leisure in the historic city of Norwich. The historic city of Norwich is dominated by its magnificent Norman cathedral, boasting the largest cloisters in England, the second tallest spire in the country and an amazing 1,200 carved stone roof bosses – one of the greatest art treasures of medieval Europe. Norwich is proud of its past and present status. Its ancient buildings and city wall remains make it the most complete medieval city in Britain. In medieval times Norwich was one of the greatest cities in England, and today, as East Anglia’s capital city, it still is – offering a rare blend of historic interest and modern sophistication.
Day 4: After breakfast we rejoin the coach and journey to Norfolk Lavender. In the grounds of an old watermill, you can visit the herb garden (flagstone paths for disabled visitors). Have a delicious cream tea freshly baked. Visit the large countryside gift shop which stocks the famous English Lavender products, together with an exciting range of other gifts to suit all ages and pockets. Choose lavender, herb and fragrant plants from the conservatory herb shop. Enjoy the rose and riverside gardens, and the fragrant meadow garden. We return to our hotel later in the afternoon, you will then have free time at leisure to relax before seating down to your Three Course Evening Meal.
Day 5: Sadly after breakfast we begin our journey home with regular passenger comfort stops en-route, arriving back to local area later in the afternoon.
