Your Five Day Itinerary:

Day 1: Morning departure from local area. We journey to the Madeley Court Hotel, Telford with regular passenger comfort stops en-route. On arrival we are welcomed with free tea and coffee and once checked in porterage will take your luggage to your room. You will then have free time at leisure to relax before seating down to your Evening Meal. The evening is free to relax at leisure.

Day 2: After breakfast we rejoin the coach for a full day excursion. At 10.30am we visit the Coalport China Museaum. The Coalport China Manufactory was the largest works of its kind in the mid 19th century. Most of the former works still survive next to the River Severn, including substantial parts of the 1796 factory and 3 impressive bottle kilns. Within these restored buildings is housed the Museum’s unique collection of late 18th, 19th and 20th century Coalport china. We rejoin the coach and journey onto Blist's Hill. Blist's Hill is a splendid open air museum based on the site of the old Madeley Mine, Blast Furnace and Brickworks. The Victorian Town has a good range of shops and other buildings rescued from all over the country (including a chemists shop from Bournemouth). You can change your modern money into Victorian token coins at the bank at the top of the village and use it throughout the site - it's quite an eye-opener.

Day 3: Full day at leisure to explore the beautiful town of Telford. Telford, named after Thomas Telford the renowned civil engineer, Telford's gleaming buildings and hi tech businesses mark it out as a town for the future. One of the UK's fastest growing and most successful new towns - it contrasts with its historic neighbour Ironbridge the birthplace of the Industrial Revolution. At Telford’s heart, surrounded by tall glossy buildings, is the biggest and best shopping centre in all of Shopaholic Shropshire.

Day 4: After breakfast we rejoin the coach and journey onto Kidderminster to board the 10.45 Severn Valley Railtrain to Bridgenorth. On arrival in Bridgenorth the afternoon is free for shopping and sightseeing. Rejoin the coach late afternoon for return journey to the hotel for evening meal. The evening is free to relax at leisure.

Day 5: Sadly, after breakfast we depart our hotel and begin our journey home. Regular passenger comfort stops en-route, arriving back to local area mid afternoon.
