Your Four Day Tour Itinerary

Day 1: Morning departure from local area. We journey east to York with regular comfort stops en-route. The afternoon is free at leisure for shopping and sightseeing. We depart York later in the day and journey onto our hotel. After checking in you have free time at leisure to relax before seating down to your Evening Meal.

Day 2: After breakfast we journey to Beningbrough Hall and Gardens. Beningbrough Hall and Gardens is a grand Georgian mansion with an impressive baroque interior, set in a park and gardens. There are more than 100 18th-century portraits and seven interpretation galleries, designed in partnership with the National Portrait Gallery. There is a fully equipped Victorian laundry, with wet and dry rooms, and a delightful walled garden which supplies The Walled Garden Restaurant. There are many family facilities, including a wilderness play area. We rejoin the coach in the afternoon and journey onto Faifax House. Fairfax House is the finest Georgian townhouse in England. The house is owned by York Civic Trust who carried out major restoration work in the 1980s to return this magnificent building to its former glory. We rejoin the coach later in the afternoon and return to our hotel for our three course evening meal. The remainder of the evening is free at leisure.

Day 3: After breakfast we journey to Castle Howard. Castle Howard is one of Britain's finest historic houses and was built over three centuries ago. A magnificent 18th century house situated in breathtaking parkland, dotted with temples, lakes statues and fountains; plus formal gardens, woodland garden and ornamental vegetable garden. Seasonal displays include daffodils, rhododendrons, magnolias, azaleas, roses and delphiniums. Inside the House guides share stories of the house, family and collections, while outdoor-guided tours reveal the secrets of the architecture and landscape.

Day 4: After breakfast we begin our journey home with regular passenger comfort stops en-route, arriving back to local area later in the afternoon.
